Designed to equip parents and grandparents with the knowledge to manage basic, everyday First Aid situations specific to children.
Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
This course is designed to meet the First Aid needs of parents, grandparents, carers and members of the public who care for babies and children up to the age of 7 years.
4 hours.
This course does not require any other certification or training to have been completed previously and is suitable for new students.
There is no formal assessment.
This course is open to participants aged 16 years and over.
Students aged 14 to under 16 may attend if accompanied by a responsible adult (parent, guardian, or carer), who must remain present for the full duration of the course. Some training venues are licensed premises (e.g. clubs, hotels) – where this applies, only participants aged 18 years and over may attend, regardless of adult supervision.
