-we can’t seem to keep kim still enough to measure him!! Let us know your guess next time you spot him at your next major event!

About Johnny Bear:
Born in regional New South Wales, Johnny Bear attended the Cub Club House where he learnt to navigate the outdoors – such as scaling trees (searching for that sweet honey) and sourcing the best spots in town to hibernate. It was only a matter of time before Johnny Bear ran into his first pack of St John Volunteers many moons ago - and he has hung around since!

Johnny’s reputation as a positive role model grows with every community event he attends. No matter where he is, you can always feel the presence of his spirit, and eventually spot him proudly wearing St John Volunteer greens at major NSW events! You can catch this funny furball running around the venue, performing CPR demonstrations and having impromptu photoshoots with the cadets!

Favourite Movie: Paddington, and Brother Bear (although, we hear Johnny is a big fan of TV show – The Bear)

Favourite Song: The Bare Necessities, by Phil Harris and Bruce Reitherman.

Favourite Food: Berries and fruit… but Johnny would never decline a slice of salmon sashimi.

Allergies: Bad attitudes, and anyone not supporting NSW (Go the Blues!)

Favourite St John Event: Too many to choose from. Johnny plans to be out of hibernation for the annual bstreetsmart and City2Surf events in Sydney this August – but his heart yearns for some sweet country air.
