This course allows experienced first aid providers to gain accreditation through competent demonstration of essential first aid techniques. Suitable for students who have completed Provide First Aid.
This course is suitable for students who regularly renew their advance resuscitation skills.
5 hours plus mandatory pre-work.
Pre-work is required.
If online mandatory pre-work is not completed prior to the course date, students will not be permitted to enter the class and will not receive certification.
You must hold a current statement of attainment in HLTAID011 Provide First Aid to participate in this course.
We use a range of different methods to assess you, including written assessments and practical activities.
You must be able to perform CPR on the floor for 2 minutes on a manikin. You may need to pair up with another student to complete the practical exercises.
