Gain the skills and knowledge required to recognise situations where people may be in imminent crisis.
This course is conducted in a classroom.
On successful completion of this course you will be issued a Certificate of Accreditation from Mental Health First Aid Australia.
Accreditations are valid for 3 years.
2 x 6-hour face-to-face sessions (12 hours total) 9am-4pm at public locations.
Includes a short online assessment post-course.
There are no prerequisites for the Mental Health First Aid Standard course.
Upon completion of the 2 days face-to-face training, students will complete a short online assessment in order to be issued with a certificate.
