Course Information

Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
This course is designed to meet the first aid needs of parents, grandparents, carers and members of the public who care for babies and children up to the age of 7 years.
This course covers the following:
  • Resuscitation of an infant or child
  • Choking
  • Control of bleeding
  • Poisoning and acute illness
  • Management of shock
  • Wounds
  • Burns
  • Bites and stings
Please note, this is a non-accredited course.
4 hours.
This course does not require any other certification or training to have been completed previously and is suitable for new students.
There is no formal assessment.
