This course is suitable for first time students or students refreshing their skills.
3.5 days, plus mandatory pre-work.
Those participants who have completed HLTAID011 Provide First Aid in the last year may be entitled to an exemption from the first day.
Pre-work is required.
If online mandatory pre-work is not completed prior to the course date, students will not be permitted to enter the class and will not receive certification.
Participants are required to undertake or present evidence for HLTAID011 Provide First Aid prior to commencing HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy.
We use a range of different methods to assess you, including written assessments and practical activities.
You must be able to perform CPR on the floor for 2 minutes on a manikin. You may need to pair up with another student to complete the practical exercises.
