Learn advanced First Aid skills and resuscitation techniques so you can manage a wide range of First Aid situations and scenarios. Suitable for students who have completed Provide First Aid prior to commencing this course.
Suitable for first time students or students refreshing their skills.
3 days plus mandatory pre-work.
Pre-work is required.
Participants are required to undertake or present evidence for HLTAID011 Provide First Aid prior to commencing HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy.
We use a range of different methods to assess you, including written assessments and practical activities.
You must be able to perform CPR on the floor for 2 minutes on a manikin. You may need to pair up with another student to complete the practical exercises.
This course is open to participants aged 16 years and over.
Students aged 14 to under 16 may attend if accompanied by a responsible adult (parent, guardian, or carer), who must remain present for the full duration of the course. Some training venues are licensed premises (e.g. clubs, hotels) – where this applies, only participants aged 18 years and over may attend, regardless of adult supervision.
