It has been another amazing run at the Sydney Royal Easter Show 2025! St John NSW’s participation continues to be a key demonstration of our commitment to community health and safety.

This year marked over 40 consecutive years of our volunteers providing comprehensive Event Health Services at this iconic event. Since our first involvement in the early 1980s, we’ve consistently delivered on being ‘ready to respond’, ensuring that everyone there gets to enjoy their time with peace of mind that St John NSW is on scene.

Throughout the 12-day event, our clinical teams were stationed across key locations, including Giants Stadium, the Kids Carnival, the Carnival area, and the Fresh Food Dome. Our Comms, Bicycle Emergency Response Team (BERT) and Medicab Transport Team were also onsite, ensuring rapid response capabilities across the grounds.

From 8:30am to 10:00pm daily, the capability and dedication of our members kept people safe, addressing a range of incidents from minor injuries to more serious medical emergencies.

In addition to our health services, our stall in the Home and Lifestyle Pavilion was able to sell many first aid kits, products and training. Our CPR demonstrations taught hundreds of attendees life-saving skills that could make a difference in critical situations. Meanwhile, many kids loved learning to do bandaging and were excited to find out about St John NSW cadet program.

Our involvement in the Sydney Royal Easter Show is a testament to the dedication and professionalism of our volunteers and staff. Your unwavering commitment ensures that we continue to be a valuable presence at major public events, reinforcing our role as a trusted provider of community health and safety.
