First Aid in Schools

Face-to-face program

The First Aid in Schools Program is a free program we offer that teaches primary school children lifesaving skills to give them the confidence to act in an emergency. The program is delivered via a 60 minute face-to-face session run by St John Ambulance Educators.

Little First Aiders

Online program

The Little First Aiders eLearning platform is a free online platform which allows primary school students to learn basic first aid skills from a range of videos and activities. Once a school signs up to use the program, they will be provided with an access link and login details to show the platform in the classroom.

Every child in Australia should have access to vital first aid knowledge.

The First Aid in Schools program is a crucial part of our goal to empower people and communities to be confident, resilient and equipped to handle emergencies. This free program teaches lifesaving skills to primary school children, giving them the confidence to act in an emergency.

We’ll come to your school for a 45 or 60-minute session run by St John Ambulance Educators, and each child walks away with vital first aid knowledge.

"Absolutely wonderful! The program was well presented with practical activities for students to reinforce their learning of first aid. I would certainly recommend this program to any school"
